November Challenge - Day Nine

Okay, remember when I was talking about iTunes yesterday? Well, today I'm freaking the fuck out. I plugged in my iPhone to sync and iTunes crashed on me. I rebooted and plugged it in and it crashed on me. And again. So I just installed the new update and the first time plugging the phone in, it didn't crash, but froze up instead. This could just be a fluke, I don't know. Now I've got a thingie scrolling across my screen saying "Checking iTunes Library." I'm starting to panic. What am I gonna do? Grrrrr....

Quit touching it! Let it sit over night and then if it's still not working in the morning START PANICING! You got 40,000 songs on that thing!

Well I don't have an iPhone, but I've had a problem or two in the past with my Nano. I went on the apple.com website and reached the FAQ area, and it gave instructions to reboot the Nano, and that fixed it. Can you somehow reboot your iPhone?

I'm with Lauren... Us Nano folks are well acquainted with the reboot.

Hi Walt, have you tried doing a hard reset on your iPhone yet? Push the "off" button (the one on the top) and the home button at the same time, for ten second until it shuts off then turns back on again. iTunes can be kind of snotty. I have an iPod and iPhone and I've always had issues.
