November Challenge - Completed

I still feel like crap. My voice is still a mess. And Ken won't leave me the fuck alone. Everytime I say something, it's in response to him asking me something, to which he replies that I should rest my voice. HOW THE FUCK CAN I REST MY VOICE IF YOU WON'T LEAVE ME ALONE? And when I don't answer, I just get asked again. Shoot me now. I'm begging you.

I usually get up early on Sundays to go for my walk, but I just couldn't today. Besides feeling like crap, I couldn't fall asleep last night. Again. Even with NyQuil. All this adds up to extra crabby Walt. Hurrah.

And with that being said, I would like to formally announce that either Ken or I will be dead before this time next year. Ken booked us a cruise for one year from yesterday. We've never been on a cruise before and he's been talking about it for years and years and years. He finally booked one and for the last 48 hours, I've heard nothing else but about the cruise. Midway through writing this, he came in my office for 25 minutes to tell me all about how what we can and can't bring on the boat. This thing is a year away. Do I really need to know anything about it now? Seriously. The next 364 days are going to be torture.

Today's Christmas song is from the band Over The Rhine. It's from their fabulous Christmas album called Snow Angels. I want to thank the ever fabulous Laura Smith for turning me on to this treasure.

How exciting Scrooge. I've never been on a cruise either. Not on a boat anyway.

Congrats on the November challenge. I'll take up the challenge for December!

While I agree that Ken should be understanding and following the Rule, you should understand he's just excited...He'll calm down and only drive you crazy about 50 of those 364 days. Well, 50 days about the cruise...other days are other subjects!

Oh Matty Malone, you clearly don't know Ken. He's been driving me crazy about this cruise for about a year and a half already. Now that it's book, the excitement is not going to die down. I'm guessing I'll have about 14 non-cruise related days between now and then, and only because I know he's going to be gone for a week next month.

Ok groan all you want now but YOU WILL LOVE the cruise. For the last few years those are the only types of vacations we take. Hell we just enjoy getting on the boat and staying there for a week.

Walt you make me laugh! I'm sorry that you are so miserable and cranky right now hun....I hope it gets better...and if you kill Ken, maybe you can plead insanity and still get to take the cruise! Hope the rest of your week starts to look up!

Okay, I think you need to come to Plano for a week or so. I'll feed you orange juice and pho, and you can sit in the back yard and look at the wind whiffling on the pool, play with the cats, go for walks around the neighborhood and the nearby greenbelt if you feel like it, and use sign language to indicate anything you need.
