Eighteen months ago I set a weight loss goal for myself. Well, technically, my doctor set a goal for me. But I accepted it even though I thought it was unreachable. That goal was to lose 100 pounds and reach 200. Recently, I amended that goal. I wanted to lose 102 pounds to reach 198. Well guess what. Today I weighed in at 198. I made it! I'm one hundred and ninety-fucking-eight pounds today! Me. I've been dancing around the house most of today.
The photo below was an idea Ken came up with. He thought a visual aid would be a good idea in helping us both with our weight loss. It hangs above the scale in the bathroom. As a treat, once we've achieved our goals, we would take a trip to Europe. So he made a two-tiered track that goes across the Atlantic from here to there. There are marks for each pound we needed to lose. I only had 38 to lose when he printed the map, so my track is the top one. He had about twice the amount to lose, so he's got the bottom track. For each pound lost, you move your pin closer to Europe. If you'll notice, his pin is still in New York. Mine is in Europe. Today was the first day my weight loss was larger than the track I was following. Ken, unfortunately, is 3 pounds heavier now than when we started this back in July. :(
So all I really want to say is "Yay Me!"

congrats! I am so happy for you :) You are so amazing!
I am the Ken of your relationship. All motivation has gone out the window. Waaah, I don't want to be Ken! No offense because he rules for making our banner and he is funny, but waaaahhh!
CONGRATULATIONS, BABY!! That is one hell of a phenomenal accomplishment. You rock like what.
You are awesome.
Yay! That's so amazing!! I keep telling you, you're a skinny bitch!!
Congrats!! Hopefully Ken will be able to reach his goal as well. I need to lose 15-20 pounds myself. It will take me much longer because I'm lazy. hehehe
