Roadwork

Last year, the street that I live on was named one of the 1o Worst Streets in the Capital Region. The road is a mess. Yesterday morning, men came around posting "NO PARKING" signs up the entire street. Starting tomorrow morning, we're getting street repairs. Tomorrow they're going to mill the street and next week they're going to completely repave it. This is great and it's annoying all at the same time. Great because the street desperately needs it, but annoying because the street is a big time cut through road. I'm afraid that this will only encourage people to fly down it even faster. Only time will tell.
